Candle Makers
When making mason jar or jelly jar candles we use the flaps that come with the canning jars to center our wicks. We drill a hole in the center of the lid and thread the wick through the hole after the candle is poured. This works great for us. Some people say you need to drill extra air holes to keep down condensation but we have never had a problem with that. We are doing soy and pour at a low temperature, so if you are doing paraffin and pouring at a higher temperature you may need to drill the extra air holes. But this works great and they come out centered every time.
