Taking the Marketing Risk Building a business takes time and patients and guess what? I just don’t have it. I want money right now and I am sure a lot of you can relate to this. Well has much as I want it all now I know running a business is a one-step-at-a-time process. So I am learning to be patient and drink loads of coffee. :-) Marketing is no different because in order for us to make money, we need to market our site. So first we need to do one important thing….Leave your “Comfort Zone”. I know we are in that safe mode and don’t want to really take a risk. I can totally relate because it took me 1 year before I decided to get an on-line business. And you know what stopped me…..No one but me. I just believe if you see a great opportunity to increase sales, or bring more traffic to your site. Jump on it! Don’t let it pass you by. Here are a few avenues to market your products: a)Speaking About Your Art or Craft b)Sell Your Art or Craft Talent as a Service c)License your products to Manufacturers d)Get Listed in Directories or Guides e)Do some magazine or newspaper advertising I know these are areas that might take alittle bit more money but I believe your business is worth it.
